Over 500 changes in the new patch for Cyberpunk 2077. Will it really become playable?

The first spring patch is being prepared for release, which should remove a lot of bugs and fix important mechanics.patch 1.12 cyberpunk

It's not a secret for anyone that the start of the games turned out to be the most disastrous and now the game is gradually being corrected with patches. CD Projekt Red has published a list of all the changes that will appear in Cyberpunk 2077 with patch 1.2. release date 29.03. 2021 and published a full patch note, which contains over 500 changes and fixesrelating to:

  • gameplay
  • quests
  • open world
  • cinematographic design (lighting)
  • locations
  • graphics and sound
  • interface
  • stability (there will be fewer sorties).

CD Projekt Red previously reported that police Night City will no longer ambush players by spawning behind them. It was also mentioned that changes will be made to the game's driving mechanics and evasion system. In of gameplay, the developer has increased the police spawn radius when the player commits a crime.

Additionally, driving mechanics has been redesigned with a new steering sensitivity slider in the options menu. Changes have been made to the vehicle control code to work better in low frame rate and extreme high frame rate situations.

In addition, a rocking feature has been added to allow the car to be pulled out after it gets stuck.

Additional changes gameplay include fixing disappearing sights, adjusting the rate of fire of helicopter turrets, disappearing police cars, fixing problems with reloading the projectile launcher system and incorrect voice communication (and this happened).

When it comes to quests, CD Projekt Red have tried to fix as many bugs in the game as possible. For example, it is no longer possible to destroy posters in advance and lose the opportunity to rifle force in conflict

Other such changes include issues with weapon draw and behavior How to Romance River Ward in Cyberpunk 2077

In the open world, a lot of bugs were indeed revealed. The developers have tried to solve most of them, so there will be fewer funny jokes and memes on the Internet. Many of these fixes involve interacting items and NPCs not working properly and even blocking progress at some points.

In addition, these fixes also solve the annoying problem of interrupting progress if you previously robbed / eliminated / interacted with the required object or person.

It also looks like Knight City residents now they will react adequately on the road - in a panic, running away in a collision with a car and not blocking the lane in a daze.

Cinematic design Cyberpunk 2077 is also one of the main sources of outrage among players. The changes in this section prevent NPCs from walking on air, fix camera issues at certain points, remove weapons sticking out of NPC hands, and fix posing issues. A recurring issue in this section is also animation out of sync, and many fixes have been made here as well.

Moving on to environment and location design, many changes have been made to prevent V and NPCs from getting stuck in different places. It was also decided to cut out cars and NPCs. Also in of vehicles, V will now correctly place his hands on the steering wheel and more logically lean out of the vehicle during a chase.

Such edits are encouraging and there is a desire to return to the game and still go through it without “dancing with tambourines” (after all, many have put Cyberpunk 2077 on the back burner until the developers fix the bugs).

All the changes in the innovation cannot be described, but we tried to convey the main essence and give a few examples. A full description of the amendments can be found at official site cyberpunk.net.
