Dragon Priestess Elden Ring is a character from the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC located on Tooth Mountain. The fate of the dragon priestess Florissax is entirely in the hands of the player: in particular, the final prizes will depend on the actions in the game world. Indirectly, the story of Florissax also intersects with the story of the crippled knight Egon. In the guide we will tell you about all the ways to complete the Priestess of the Dragon Sacrament quest in Elden Ring. Let's list all the outcomes of the dragon, ways to achieve them and prize wonders.
How to start Egon's quest in Shadow of the Erdtree
The chain of interactions is activated in the Plain of Tombstones:
- At the grace "Stop by the road with columns" turn south to
- On the way to the Dragon Pit, defeat the Ancient Dragonman phantom.
- Go through the Dragon Pit and defeat the boss - a real Ancient Dragon Man, previously encountered in phantom form. In the arena with him, open the door leading to Haro's secret grave.
How to complete Egon's quest in Elden Ring
The quests of Egon and the priestess are connected only indirectly, but it is easier to consider them together: the fate of both characters is decided after the murder of the legendary Bale the Terrible.
Where to find the Dragon Priestess
At the first fork in Tooth Mountain, where the Tooth Mountain Dragon lives, turn south. This path leads to the Great Altar of Dragon Communion, where priestess Florissax awaits. In the first dialogue, the servant Placidusaxa will offer to strengthen yourself with the essence of the dragon. If you agree, the tool will be issued Blessing of the Ancient Dragon, for 70 seconds and for 15 OK, increasing resistance to all damage by 10%, and also increasing resistance when blocking by 20%.
The tool is consumable, but before defeating Bail the Terrible, you can ask the priestess for it as many times as you like: just return to her and select the “Ask for Power” option.
Then you can ask the priestess about Bail the Terrible and Egon. She will ask you to kill the boss. Depending on further actions, the rewards and fate of the Dragon Priestess vary.
How to keep the Priestess alive
The fate of Florissax will depend on the character’s actions after the first meeting:
- If, after talking to her, you just go and kill Bale, she will disappear, but leave behind the loot (see Rewards).
There is an alternative option with other rewards. After the initial meeting with Florissax, do not explore Tooth Mountain yet and repeat the steps below in sequence:
- Don't go to Shadow Haven (not a requirement, but better to do so).
- Travel to Tombstone Plain. Chat with Thiolier next to the grace “Cross by the Road with Columns”.
- Now ride to the grace of the “Cross at the Main Gate” growing at the entrance to Belurat. Talk to supply man Moore, after which he will give you Black Molasses. If you visited the Shadow Haven or under other circumstances caused the Mikella rune to split (“Somewhere a great rune split and a powerful spell was dispelled”), then Moore will ask for advice on further actions. Black treacle will be given out if you choose 1 or 2 tips: "Don't think about it" or "Be sad forever."
- With Black Molasses, return to Thiolier and select the lines “Give Black Molasses”, “Ask about Black Molasses”, “I feel tired of life” in sequence. The perfumer will give Thiolier's medicine. Copies can now be purchased from his store for 30000 runes.
- Now warp back to the Great Altar of the Dragon Sacrament, wait at the checkpoint until night falls, maybe a couple of times, and give Florissax the Potion to Thiolier.
- The dragoness will fall asleep. Return to grace, wait until noon twice and exhaust all dialogue with the awakened one.
- You can now fight Bale the Terrible. Defeat the boss.
- Return to Florissax. Talk to her about what she will give out alternative rewards for.
While exploring Tooth Mountain, you can also encounter Egon again.
Second meeting with Egon
Defeat the Brawling Dragons of Tooth Mountain in the arena after the Foot of the Tooth Mountain grace. Once both lizards fall, Egon will appear and will praise the player for his dragon-slaying exploits. If you pay attention to him and communicate, he will give out Egon's Crooked Finger, allowing you to summon the phantom Egon to fight Bale the Terrible.
Battle with Bale the Terrible
Climb to the top of Tooth Mountain and engage in battle with the legend of Tooth Mountain. We recommend using a tank monk build based on the Sticky Spears and Parasite Streams prayers, which shoot homing physical projectiles. Awards
After your triumph over Bale, return to the place where you met Egon the second time and pick up the valuables:
- Egon's big bow,
- Egon armor set,
- Bell sphere of Igon. Give it to the old twin maids in the hub to unlock the ability to buy Egon's Harpoon.
Egon will die, which means all these items will be available regardless of whether he was called to fight Bail the Terrible. Bail's death also ends the story of Priestess Florissax.
If the Priestess died
If you didn’t put her to sleep, then the following things will remain in the place where she stood:
- The heart of a priestess - turns into a dragon,
- Stone flower hammer.
If the Priestess survived
If you successfully put Florissax to sleep and talk to her after sleep, then after defeating Bale, return to her and talk again. The rewards for such an outcome of the Florissax story will be:
- Prayer "Dragon Lightning Florissax"
- Ashes of the Ancient Dragon Florissax. You will get it if you confess to the priestess after killing Bale that you put her to sleep earlier.
