elemental reactions in decks. As in the open world, they significantly increase outgoing damage and help to ease the age. To achieve victory, you need to use them correctly.
In this guide, we will explain how elemental reactions work in the card game, why they are needed, and how to trigger them.
How Elemental Reactions Work in Sacred Call of the Seven
In the new card mode, as in the rest of the game, there are elemental reactions. Their use will increase the damage and also help control the battlefield for a better outcome of the game. In addition, there are skills that impose an elemental status without causing damage and also cause a reaction. However, such attacks ignore all effects inherent in interactions.
Be careful, as opponents can also use reactions. Study the elemental affiliation of enemies and follow the course of the battle in order to prevent them from being tricked on your cards.
There are 11 types of reactions in total.
Melting
To activate the Melting reaction, you need the interaction of elements Pyro and Crio. The order of application is unimportant. Damage is increased by 2.
steam
Formed by interaction Pyro and Hydro. The order is unimportant. Damage +2.
Overload
To activate, you need to apply in any order Pyro and Electro. Damage +2.
Be careful, the reaction has an additional effect - the target affected by the reaction will be forced to change to the next one after taking damage. This works both towards opponents and towards own cards (if the enemy activated the reaction).
Freezing
To Freeze you need to combine Cryo and Hydro elements. Damage +1.
The target of the reaction is frozen and cannot enter combat until the end of the round. In the next round, the effect will disappear automatically. To remove the Freeze, you need to attack the Pyro or a physical attack on the card on which this reaction hangs. However, in this case, the target will take an additional +2 damage.
Superconductor
Formed by interaction Cryo and Electro. The stacking order of the elements is not important. Damage +1. Other character cards except the active one take +1 piercing damage. Penetrating damage is damage that cannot be increased by cards and other bonuses, but also cannot be blocked by a shield.
charged
To activate the Charged reaction, you need Hydro and Electro elements. Damage +1. All other character cards except the active one take +1 piercing damage.
Budding
Reaction Hydro and Dendro elements. Interaction increases damage by 1 and creates Dendro corewith which further reactions can be carried out.
If you deal damage after Budding Pyro or Electro, damage increased by 2. Only 1 use of Dendro Core. After that, he will disappear.
Stimulation
Formed by a combination Dendro and Electro and increases damage by 1. After the reaction creates area of catalysis - When the target takes damage from Electro or Dendro, the damage is increased by 1 more. Total 3 applications of an area of catalysis.
Combustion
Activation requires interaction Dendro and Pyro elements in any order. Damage +1.
Reaction calls for helper Bright flame. The helper in the final phase deals 1 Pyro damage. Only 2 uses, stacks up to 2 times. This reaction is well enhanced by the cards "Quick knitting". If the opponent uses such a reaction, then counter him with the cards "Send Off" and "Guardian's Oath«.
Diffusion
Anemo can dispel any element except Geo, Dendro and other Anemo. In this reaction, the order is important, since Anemo does not assign a status to the target, but only inflates the existing ones. Therefore, you must first apply Pyro / Hydro / Cryo / Electro status to the target, and then apply Anemo.
Dispel deals 1 elemental damage to all enemy character cards, except for the target, and hangs them with the status of a dispelled element, with which further reactions can be performed. If other enemy cards had a different element, then there will be an interaction with the inflated element from the original target.
Crystallization
Geo interacting with any element other than Dendro, Anemo, and Geo deals 1 damage to the target and creates a Crystal that grants 1 damage. shield that protects the character who created the reaction. To do this, you must first impose another element, and only then Geo. It won't work in reverse order. Shield stacks up to 2 times.
How to apply Elemental Reactions: overlaying an element on an enemy card
Their use is absolutely similar - you need to impose an element on the opponent's card using a skill, and then activate the reaction by inflicting damage with another element.
In addition to skills, with the help of normal attacks, character cards that use a catalyst also impose a status.
In the End Phase, Helper cards (such as Rodia, Oz, or Goba Mimics) not only deal damage to the enemy, but also apply a status and can activate a reaction.
Cards to enhance Elemental Reactions
There are cards in the game that can increase the damage of elemental reactions, and also have activation conditions based on the use of elemental interactions:
- Chan the Ninth.
- Instructor cap.
- Elemental Resonance: Blazing Fire.
- Elemental Resonance: Indestructible Stone.
- Elemental Resonance: Creeping Greens.
The listed cards can only be purchased in card store.
