May Ify, Anemo Catalyst. Both companions will be coming in the first half of the patch, along with Navia's rerun. Phase 2 will see the return of Kinich and Raiden, and the launch of the Inazuma Chronicles Prayer, where popular heroes from the region can be obtained.
However, there may not be enough in-game currency for everyone, given the variety of strong companions and long-awaited reruns. Most likely, you will have to choose one or two, based on the state of your . In the guide, we will tell you who to spin in update 5.6 in Genshin Impact and we will analyze all the legendaries in detail to help you choose the most necessary one.
An overview of the characters in the banners of Genshin Impact 5.6
The heroes of this patch have interesting mechanics, but differ greatly from each other and are needed for different squads. Let's analyze their advantages and disadvantages in order to choose the most suitable one for the collection and successful completion of content.
Escoffier
Fontaine. Her skills are built around the buff and damage over time from the cooking mech, as well as healing through the elemental burst as a percentage of attack power. She feels perfect in a build with Cryo and Hydro, as she reduces the elemental resistance of enemies depending on the number of such heroes in the party.
Her unique mechanics involve playing through Freeze and Sunder, making her similar to s like Miki (Cryo, spear). Therefore, she is best suited for players who like Cryo and Hydro companions and want to strengthen their existing parties. For beginners without damage dealers of these elements or who prefer other elements, she will be almost useless, as she will not be able to reach her potential. Although Escoffier plays well at C0, her first and second constellations are very useful and will provide allies with a significant boost.
Navia
Navia (Geo, two-handed sword) — Main DD with a high base attack power. Her combat style is tied to the use of Crystallization, which charges an elemental skill for hand shots. The heroine is great in groups through reactions, but is ineffective in mono-Geo squads. Her build is universal and almost does not change regardless of the squad composition, and she does not require the mandatory opening of constellations.
Due to the increasing damage from Geo reactions, Navia will be a good choice for players with pumped up sub-DD Hydro, Cryo, Electro or Pyro elements. However, for beginners without a ready-made motley squad, Navia will lose most of its damage and will not live up to expectations. In addition, the Crystal Shrapnel mechanic requires getting used to - you need to keep an eye on the formed crystals and not waste charges in vain.
Kinich
Nahida (Dendro, catalyst), but its mechanics are more dynamic and focused on single target damage. The Saurian Hunter works well with Pyro sub-DDs, which can ively maintain the status on the enemy.
He can still be played through Stimulate, but the numbers in those groups aren't that high and generally aren't worth the investment. The big question with Kinich's implementation on an is whether it's possible to provide him with the right allies who are often used in other groups.
Raiden
Raiden (Electro, spear) — main DD/sub DD with powerful damage and energy restoration for allies. Her key feature is an elemental explosion that hits the area, activating a temporary stance in which the Archon restores energy to all team . She is especially effective in packs with high energy requirements, as it allows you to assemble teams with a minimum value of this stat on other characters.
At C0, the heroine already performs the role of a damage dealer and a battery well, but C2 turns her into one of the strongest Electro hyper-carries in the game. When assembling a squad, it is important to consider the cost of the ultimate of other , since Raiden is dependent on Determination stacks. Due to her universal abilities, she will suit players who are looking for a hero for different types of content or have a need to strengthen a squad with high energy costs.
Character Overview in Inazuma's Temporary Banner
In addition to temporary banners, version 5.6 will feature Prayer of the Chronicles, dedicated to the heroes of the Electro region. If desired, you can knock out an existing companion for pumping constellations or take those that you could not get in previous reruns.
Ayato
Ayato (Hydro, one-handed sword) — the main Hydro damager. He deals the main damage in the Takimeguri Kanka state, when he hits with quick strikes on the area, but cannot use charged attacks and while falling. The explosion of the elements creates a field with Hydro status and a buff to the normal attacks of allies - convenient for playing from the pocket with a main DD of this style. When fighting bosses, the ult is not as effective as when attacking a group of enemies.
The leader of the Kamisato clan is optimal for those who are looking for a main DD from normal attacks with the ability to rebuild it into a sub-DD. He feels great with Cryo for a stable Freeze, Pyro companions for the Steam reaction and Electro for combos through Charged. Simple mechanics and lack of dependence on constellations are suitable for F2P players and beginners. The disadvantages are the high cost of the ult and dependence on the quality of weapons and artifacts.
Ayaka
Ayaka (Cryo, one-handed sword) — main DD, dealing damage over an area. It has a special form of sprint, used in rotation, and requires increased attention, since the explosion of elements can easily be missed if the moment of activation is incorrect. Ideally, she needs an ally with a tie, and the high cost of the ult also implies playing through Cryo Resonance with a to replenish energy.
The girl is perfect for players who play with an emphasis on Cryo damage, have Hydro in their arsenal to activate Freeze and for tightening. Dynamic gameplay can be difficult to implement for beginners and those who are used to spamming ultimates, since it is important to follow the mechanics and sequence with Ayaka.
Tiori
Tiori (Geo, one-handed sword) — a secondary damage dealer whose primary role is to deal damage with her elemental skill and be present on the battlefield for a short time. As a sub-DD, she fits in well with teams with heroes capable of creating Geo structures, although C1 makes her less dependent on this condition. Due to her double scale from attack and defense, she is easier to assemble in the early stages. The designer is best suited for groups with a well-structured rotation, where the ive "Patterned Fabric" allows you to quickly switch to main-DD, increasing overall damage.
As a main DD, she's only interesting at C6, when her normal attacks get Geo infusion and an additional buff from defense. Tiori is hard to open up without a second Geo with the ability to create structures, and newbies may have a hard time adapting to her playstyle and activating additional effects in time.
Itto
Goro (Geo, onion), which can provide massive bonuses to defense.
The Arataki gang leader is a good choice for players who want to play an active, simple and straightforward main DD. However, he is not suitable for beginners or those who do not have suitable s - Itto is ineffective without a battery and defense buffs, and is not so popular outside of Geo teams.
Kazuha
Kazuha (Anemo, one-handed sword) — a with an emphasis on Dispersion. The main advantage is the buff to the elemental damage of allies, depending on the mastery of the elements. It can be called a strengthening conduit for many squads with reactions. Due to the low base attack power and the priority of the mastery of the elements, it is difficult to implement hybrid builds through crits or attack for it.
The wandering samurai ronin has stood the test of time and is still a great choice for players with Cryo, Hydro, Pyro, and Electro damage dealers. Not only does he buff the damage of such allies, but he also makes gameplay easier with his tie-up and mobility. Kazuha thrives in areas where there is a lack of stable control over enemies, and plays a hit-and-run role, leaving the battlefield to the rest of the party.
Yae Miko
Yae Miko (Electro, catalyst) — Priestess from Inazuma with a damage base in the form of an elemental skill and elemental burst. She can be built as a sub-DD or main-DD, although due to the high cost of the ultimate, it is advisable to have a second Electro as a battery. Yae Miko's build is tied to elemental mastery and crits, but for stable damage she lacks resistance to interruption and requires proper positioning.
The High Priestess of the Great Temple of Narukami displays her abilities well with Fischl (Electro, onion) plays the role of a secondary damage dealer. Recommended for those players who want a combination of damage outside the battlefield with the ability to finish off with a powerful ult.
Kokomi
Kokomi (Hydro, Catalyst) — a that combines HP recovery and the imposition of a stable status on enemies. Elemental skill "Kuraga's Oath" is useful in protracted battles and ing allies. However, due to the expensive elemental explosion required to reset the E-shka, she also needs to increase energy recovery with artifacts or weapons.
The Divine Priestess is suitable for players who are looking for a reliable healer and a source of stable Hydro status with Electro/Dendro/Pyro reactions. In battle, it is necessary to take into that Kokomi has a risk of being frozen by enemies due to the imposition of the Hydro status on herself. In addition, the girl will be useful in exploring the world due to the reduction of stamina consumption during swimming for team .
Eimia
Eimiya (Piro, onion) — a single-task, but extremely effective ranged damage dealer. The main damage comes from regular attacks, enhanced by an elemental skill. The ult is not so important and can often be ignored altogether, although it gives a small buff to the rest of the team. Due to her playstyle, the girl does not perform well in revolver squads and when clearing groups of monsters.
The Fireworks Master is best suited for builds with a stable overlap of reaction elements with Pyro. A successful combination would be an Archer with Electro, who can play from the pocket and expand the Overload area. The mechanics of Eimiya itself are simple and convenient for beginners, although high numbers will require some investment.
Who to spin in update 5.6
The choice of character from patch 5.6 depends on who is currently missing on s for comfortable and effective completion of content:
- Escoffier will be a good addition for players with a large selection of strong Cryo/Hydro and will diversify the style of play with its mechanics. The assembly is quite budgetary and does not require the obligatory receipt of constellations, which makes it possible not to stop at obtaining one hero in the collection.
- Navia и Kinich are suitable for forming a new squad with main DD in their person, but due to the specifics of the mechanics, you will have to adapt to their gameplay. With them, it is convenient to close bosses and at the same time diversify the gameplay due to the need to increase damage by fulfilling conditions.
- Raiden will fit well into almost any build due to its versatility and flexibility, and the ability to restore the energy of allies will help to reveal heroes with an expensive ult. She can be called the golden mean and the optimal character for both a pumped and for beginners who have opened Inazuma.
- Ayato и Ayaka are great for clearing out groups of enemies, but both require a lot of resources and strong allies.
- Tiori и Kokomi will be good candidates to serve as a pocket booster for the team.
- Itto и Eimia easy to use and perform one task - to inflict maximum damage with the of s. Suitable for beginners and do not have difficult conditions, although they need certain s.
- Kazuhu worth considering if you need a tightening and buffering of Cryo, Pyro, Hydro and Electro elements. Will supplement the group with its damage, providing stable reactions.
- Yae Miko good in the sub-DD position, but to build into the main damage dealer you need a lot of resources so as not to be inferior to other companions. Also requires a competent rotation and to compensate for energy for the ult.
Interview
We hope that the management will decide who to knock out in the 5.6 update in Genshin Impact. comments share your opinion about the new character from Fontaine and reruns of the old ones. Check out the separate article for other features patch 5.6.
I'm torn between Raiden and Miko
I don't have both, 100% guarantee and 35-36 twists have been unscrewed
in the chronicle - many times less
I'm really worried because I don't know how to save and basically lose every 160 gems
I'm more inclined to Miko, although I'll have to completely replace the squad.
Raiden is a good battery but it is dependent on c2 and signal
If I can't save up until the last day of the banner, I can spin 20-30 spins in the process
Excellent girl Escoffier (and she immediately fell out and her spear and the one lost in the snowstorm from Ayaka was left extra), as a casual I liked her, between Ayaka and Barbara she is just ideal instead of Chevreuse when the fire is not needed!
Came back to Genshin to finish off S6 Ayaka. Made a couple of spins in Navia's banner - S1 Navia flew in. Well, she's a queen <3
Shogun Raiden, definitely.
Help me decide:
I have a 50/50 guarantee, ~30 twists have been unscrewed for Raiden
I didn't play with Miko at all after the game.
I can't figure out who to knock out - Yae or Raiden
The fox has a huge disadvantage - it takes up a lot of time on the field from the main DD...
but at the same time it fits perfectly into those squads where the main DD after rotation goes into the pocket to wait for cooldowns (for example Tignari).
Specifically, her choice depends on the pack where you are going to put her, because in most squads (in which the DD is always on the field except for the rotation of s) she is even worse than Fischl.
Well, here you need to understand the following:
The Raiden on C0 has two main uses:
1) Pocket in bud squads (simple assembly) - it is assembled as much as possible in MS, presses E-key and explodes buds, sitting in the pocket. Cheap and convenient.
2) Stat driver-battery (complex assembly) - is assembled into an emblem, here both VE as much as possible 250%+, and I want more crits, but first of all VE, because her personal damage still does not reach the level of other damage drivers. In exchange for not very high damage, she pumps energy to her squad, i.e. to fully reveal her potential, you need to use energy-dependent characters like Xiangling and reconfigure them, reducing their VE within reasonable limits, replacing them with crits and other damage stats.
Setting up a squad for Raiden takes understanding, time, and nerve.
So you should think carefully whether you really want to expose it as a driver on C0.
Fox is not a simple character either. I'll leave a lengthy post from her main about her role in the squads — https://www.hoyolab.com/article/34751211
As already noted above, she, like a pocket, takes up quite a lot of time on the field and in many teams, like a pocket, she will be worse than Fischl or the new Ororon.
Therefore, to fully reveal her potential, it is better to play her either as a squad driver or as a revolver, i.e. in packs where there is no full-fledged squad driver, but there are revolver characters who carry out their short rotations on the field and change often.
I wouldn't spin either one at all.
Miko is definitely outdated in of mechanics, and Raiden now, if you knock it out, then immediately with s2, so that she cuts resistances, otherwise she will lose to many characters who do not need a quick set of ults (literally all of Natlan)
I'll be spinning Raiden. I just happen to have the spear Ulok at rank 5 awakening!
The cook is clearly useful, but the design is just sh*t
It's as if it wasn't a Chinese developer who created it, but a gypsy who was hired for outsourcing
How elegant Navia looks and how disgusting is this misunderstanding with her hair, which she doesn't even tie up (being a cook, lol)
Well, the design of the Navi is also so-so. They have too much nonsense in the design. The steering wheels alone are worth something. It is not clear why these excesses are needed. Although overall it is good of course =\
I don't like most of the Gashni designs in principle. They are such perverts.
I like the Victorian concept (of course, taking into the needs of incels and other people who can't get aroused if a woman is wearing a normal amount of clothes), all those curls and frills are exactly as a compliment to the bygone era.
But what makes me want to puke is the hsr-like design of Skirk, they had to make such a dull character with leggings from the early 2010s...
And I rate Escoffier's design and her animations much higher than Navia's.
And there are much more details and the quality is better. But that's subjective.
I didn't understand about the untidy hair, it's kind of a game.
If they managed to give her a cap, they should have continued the design with a beautiful bun or pinned her hair with hairpins, and not left that icicle that was just trying to become an additional ingredient in her cake.
I think the design is well thought out and there is a good job done on the little details. Just look at that bow and the hearts!
Sorry, but I prefer to listen to the opinions of ordinary players, not gunners
Now I'd like to pick on the disheveled hair of the cook in the gacha game...
Yeah, okay, she's almost always trashing everything in every thread, and she doesn't forget to mention that she would have done it better, because she knows about 'correct' design, which for her is equal to having hundreds of frills on a character, like Navia, who was mentioned here, who is literally loaded with everything (although in most cases the beauty of design is in simplicity, hello Raiden). And she'll definitely make caustic attacks on people who like exposed body parts, which is normal in principle, but not in her case.
Putting the two together, I suppose that her cook would be in a full uniform (jacket, pants, apron), sandals with holes, and a cap covering her entire head.
I don't know who to pull considering that my next 5-star character is guaranteed, I have about 30 before him, and of the current characters (not counting Inazuma's prayer) I have Navia and Raiden. My brother also messed with my head. I have this choice now: pull Escoffier now, pull Kinich later, or wait for Skirk.
Any tips?
(I didn't write it in the original comment, but I can't fix it anymore)
Nescafe will most likely be a signature for Skirk, a la Sitlali for Mavuika (but this, of course, is without guarantees). Of the rest of the character pool, only Kazuha is still a "must have", although he is gradually losing ground. Kinich is a very amateur DD, although he has damage, you can't take that away
I knocked out Naviya
I want to understand which main DD to knock out, I think Kinich, the numbers are bigger, for the abyss I think it’s simpler, at least close 11, I don’t even dream of 12.
The strongest of all here is probably Kinich. But personally I would knock out Naviya.
I have both characters on C0 without sig. Navia gives me powerful jabs and you can put anyone in a pack with her. Kinich is dependent on the combustion reaction, without Emilia and Mavuika I feel uncomfortable playing them.
If there is no main DD on the at all, then the best option is to wait for Skirk + be sure to take Escrofier.
After almost three years of playing, I highly recommend against taking constant-dependent DDs, because they change like gloves over time.
In general, the main DD ideally should either be extremely broken by imba: Arli with Korshun / Vesla / Khoma / BP R5, Mavuika with Shilonen, most likely Skirk; or have high damage, zero dependence on const and almost zero - on signa, and here the list is surprisingly short: Varesa (since there is The Widsith), Haytham (Steel Sting is enough), and debatably Nila and Tartaglia. And ideally, it should be a four - Kamin c6, Noel c6.
To the question of why others are not suitable:
Kinich is consto-dependent, detachment-dependent, wants signa too, quite inconvenient
Navia is sign-dependent and requires very, very good art
Chaska - takes Furina and Bennett at once, is practically not functional without them, wants consts or signa
Mualani is the living embodiment of the concept of a bug, wildly inconvenient
Clorinda is a constipated person, she wants a sign too
Risley/Ayaka - need c1/c2, will be guaranteed to be powercreeped with c0 Skirk even on cons
Nevik is still ok, but the dependence on c1 and signal is felt more and more over time
Lini - see Navia, the gameplay is not for everyone, to put it mildly, basically one squad
Hu Tao is still ok, but please bury the stewardess already
Raiden - without c2 and signa is not a character at all in 2025, although blowing up buds is still ok
All the rest (and some from the list above) have been power-crawled for a long time, and most of them not even with Legacy, but simply with the 6-Cam.
at the end I forgot to add that this is just your opinion and it may not be entirely correct)
Kinich - doesn't depend on const at all, I don't know about the signal. It only depends on the squad, but in its burning and without const it gives out huge damage, though in solo target
Navia - I have s0r0, copes with all content, she doesn't need consts for free, but obviously wants a 5* gun
Chaska - I have s1p0, not really relevant, because with consta, but it closes the abyss without bennett and without furina, I just don't like playing, both those and others)
Mualani is very inconvenient, I won't argue, but you can probably get used to it, it deals huge damage, and the last time I missed was half a year ago, even before the fix, I don't know what kind of bugs there are
with the rest +-
Personally, I would advise not to take Escoffier and wait for Skirk, but to wait for Mavuiki + Sitlali. I am sure it is stronger and more versatile.
Skirk will obviously be imba in his element, but damn, that's cryo from freezing)
>> at the end I forgot to add that this is just your opinion and it may not be entirely correct)
I didn't forget, the margin of error is minimal: I don't give a damn about the appearance, voice acting, animations (unless they ruin the combat as much as Mualani's) and all the other gacha-chaff (still, as a fantasy game, it's not Genshin anymore, but Gashnya, but the combat is still ok).
I base my opinion not only and not so much on my experience, but also on a bunch of watched tours and professional (not drunk like Glin's) analyses of characters, for example from Zen, Angelo or Zajef77. What do tours have to do with it? An on progression has exactly the same task as a tournament player - to squeeze the maximum out of very limited resources with a bunch of "banned" characters, and also for the character to be relevant for at least the next 2 years (and not like Scar or Risley, for example).
>> Kinich - doesn't depend on const at all, I don't know about the signal.
About consts info straight from Zen, from my own not very great experience I can also say that on c0 his damage is mediocre, and the first two consts give a lot.
>> Navia - I have s0r0, copes with all content, she doesn't need consts for free, but obviously wants a 5* gun
Literally wrote "signature dependent" (ok, maybe the r5 sword from BP is not worse). And also, if you don't have a close to 100% KS for it, then every non-crit on the boss is often a room restart. And if the CU is below 170, the DPS stops impressing.
>> Chaska - I have s1p0, not really relevant, because with consta, but it closes the abyss without bennett and without furina, I just don't like playing, both those and others)
And does the 20th floor of the World of Tempered Valor close? And how much reserve does the abyss go without them, and what kind of squad is it? There is information that 60k dps is barely scraped together there, and this is the level of the top packs of version 1.0. For comparison, the top squad of Mava now has numbers of 120k+, and on average, decent squads now have about 85-100k.
By the way, in my opinion, a very good waterline for a main DD is that he should be at least more or less comparable to Kamin at c0 with equal investments, that is, so that at least the fours wouldn’t overtake him.
Kinich s0 really doesn't meet this criterion, just like Chaska in a squad without Bennett and Fura.
I would like Kokomi, but it is probably no longer relevant - for her, everything is in the past. In the complete absence of suitable DDs - for the future - you can take Skufya. But is there such a future?
But isn't everything leading to her being resurrected?
The new characters are focused on the freeze reaction. I think it will be perfect for Skirk.
How can you resurrect a character who only heals and gives water to enemies? Does that mean Chicha will also return to the meta now?
Escoffier is sick, and water in the ideal squad for the skirk will be given by Furina/Elan
If these characters are not there, then kokomi can be a temporary stopgap, but for the sake of a temporary stopgap, dragging an event character from the chronicles banner (!) is a joke. There are enough applicators and healers in hydro cryo without kokomi
You are exaggerating out of thin air.
I just said that with the advent of the cryo/hydro Persians, she will return from the past. People will start to take her off the shelves and try to play with Escoffier, and later with Skirk.
I didn't give the person advice to run and spin it, and I didn't claim that Kokomi is now imba and meta.
Well, Coco is more likely just out of sympathy, out of love for Inazuma and in general for the past Genshin. And Skirk didn't appeal to me at all, and I don't plan on it. I'm writing more about the future DD line from Nod and Snezhnaya.
I understand you very well. I like her very much myself. And the banners with Inazuma Persians immerse me in nostalgia.
But I think that it makes no sense to spin it just for the sake of the characters from Nod and Snezhnaya, because when a new region comes out, the developers release their s there. And every year they get stronger.
Navia, Kazuha, C3 for Raiden or twirling weapons in the prayer of the chronicles?
I considered Naviya and Kazuha only as strong characters, but I don't like them by all criteria. I want to get C3 for Raiden for the soul (waifugamer). Of Inazuma's weapons, there is only fog, I was thinking of getting the Tiori and Ayato's signs (if of course the spins remain).
Who to choose?
There are already characters: Mavuika, Shilonen, Ye Lan, Furina, Clorinda, Venti and C2 Raiden. Or should we skip it and twist the constellations and/or their signature weapons on the current characters in the future?
Spin the harvest for Raiden, it gives too much, I even checked with other 5* spears, Homa and the Arle's signa. The damage is too different, which surprised me, but if anything, I can make an exact measurement. But if you lose on the chronicle, there are a lot of cool weapons (except for the Kokomi signa), so I wish you luck in getting something useful
On the previous banner I managed to get a harvest (I should have mentioned it in the comment..). But thanks for the luck!) Likewise
And thank you too. By the way, I was stupid and thought that Zhavta would be in the chronicle, and not separately, and now I just ed it. But in any case ... if you really want a powerful boost, then c2 Shilonen will be a great investment, but it has its own peculiarities. And c3 Raiden you can try to make right now because I don't know when the awl will be
I would spin the C3 Raiden and signal to Tiori or Raiden, as advised.
Why is everyone so fixated on Escoffier's resistance cut? She's a great sub-DD in packs from melting. I'd also argue about what the final damage will be for Arlecchino and Ayaka (let's say even in combination with Furina) if Escoffier is put in with them.
Of course, the Kazakh is an excellent for Harlequin
I knock out Naviya, and the rest are in the Chronicles.
Escoffier - it would be good, but not this time
Kinich - easy skip
Raiden - already exists
Why are you skipping Kinich? I really want to, I came right in
Design, gameplay, dendro element.
But that didn't work for me.
navia)
Damn, I don't know(•_•)
a squad of two main DDs - Navia, Clorinda, Xianka and Xian Yun (yes, I understand that this is a REALLY bad squad) I want to remake it, but I don’t know who to main more, Clori or Navi, help!!!
if clorinda, then do i need to knock out kazuha or will xian yun do? if navi, then i already have tiori, maybe me or kokomi?
Kazakh is definitely better for Clorinda than Xian Yun, but it's better to play her in overdrive with Shevrez. Like Clorinda, Xianka, Shevrez and Bennett. (By the way, Yae can be replaced with Bennett if you want)
Naviya needs 1 geo character for the sake of reason and 2 characters of different elements, Bennett will do well, and as a DD, Yae can also perform. It is better to knock out Tiori with s1 so that she can play normally without geo constructions. By the way, if you really want to play around, you can put Xian Yun with Naviya and play with plange attacks, but this is when there is absolutely nothing else to do.
In general, whoever is closer to your soul, that's the one you should main, the main thing is that he gives you warmth.
