Miniature detector in Fontaine, similar to a mechanical beetle. These are miniature detectors created by the Fontaine Research Institute using special components. The devices were intended for observing natural phenomena, but now they can be found in the open world and collected to upgrade heroes.
In this guide, we'll look at where to find the Miniature Detector in Fontaine and whether you can buy it, how to use it, and which characters need it to level up.
What does a Miniature Detector look like?
A miniature detector is a small bug-like mechanism that crawls along the ground and monitors natural phenomena. When a character approaches, the light on the beetle's back begins to blink red, attracting attention. The devices can be hit, but this is not necessary for collection - just walk up and pick up the beetle like any other item.
Preparing to farm a miniature detector
Before you start collecting miniature detectors, prepare your squad and stock up on the necessary food. The time to overcome all obstacles and long distances can be significantly reduced if you make the right team and use food that gives various boosts.

Hello! Thank you very much, we have updated the guide!
I still haven’t figured out how to insert pictures here, so I’m posting a link to the hosting https://ibb.co/ryz9x3h
In the hilichurl hut you need to break the barrel - there are about 5 bugs in it.
Hello! Thanks for your find, added to the guide :)
But apparently this is a one-time event. If you come to the same point again, there will only be a box or two that give you regular fruits/vegetables. That’s why this place is not marked on the interactive map.
Hello! Thanks for the information, we have added this clarification to the article.
