An epic cinematic for the 2024 League of Legends season was shown

Riot Games published a long-awaited cinematic video on the League of Legends YouTube channel in honor of the start of 2024 Season called "Still here". The video shows clips from the past, present and future of Runeterra.

The beginning of the video shows a fight Cale и Morgans, opposing the Darkin invasion led by Atrox, probably somewhere near Targon. The period of time can be understood by the Fallen’s not yet bound wings and the presence of a sword. This battle takes place hundreds of years ago and is the moment of the war between Zoolani and Mihira, which you can learn more about in the card game Legends of Runeterra.

A fragment from the future concerns Yasuo, protecting the remaining survivors of a certain attacked village. The swordsman from Ionia is represented with gray hair, and instead of ordinary weapons, he uses only a stick to fight bandits.

At the end of Yasuo's video, a mysterious mask is shown in front of him in the dark, which could belong to Yene, an unknown Azakana, or even Kindred, since in the next second an arrow flies towards the swordsman. Apparently, then the hero dies, but the final outcome of the battle remains hidden behind the scenes.

The present depicts someone on the verge of death Trindamir, why they came for him Kindred, serving as the embodiment of death on Runeterra. After the Wolf attempts to take the life of a still resisting barbarian, his husband comes to the aid of Ash. Unlike Yasuo, resigned to death, who was hit by Sheep's arrow, Tryndamere fought to the last - that is why he was pursued by the Wolf.

The company tried and worked on the mistakes of the start of the 13th season, thanks to which the video came out exciting, atmospheric and with elaborate animation. We recommend watching the cinematic even for those who are not familiar with the game’s universe, at least because of the release of the second season of the series "Arcane" autumn 2024 year.
