During the mission, help Voite deal with his sworn enemy Burkhard, whose life haunts the master. The murderer has gathered a whole gang of bandits around himself, but it is not worth killing them - the artist believes that the henchmen ended up on the wrong path because of deception. Along the way, you will be able to earn pennies for the order of the local bailiff, showing him proof of the reprisal against the killer.
Kill Burkhard
After receiving the quest, you can either immediately get down to business, or ask the master about the location where the robber is located:
- "How do I recognize Burkhard?" is his distinctive feature. helmet with teeth.
- "Who appointed a reward for Burkhard" - you will learn about the reward for the robber from the bailiff.
- "Does Burkhard have any friends?" - Vojta will report that there are about six more people in the camp, but will ask not to kill them.
- “Where can I find him?” the master will point to Apolena.
Burkhard's camp is located in the southwest of the region. Entering the forest from the side of Trosky Castle, go a little deeper, you will immediately notice bandits on the rocks and hear the bandits singing.
You can go on a sortie both at night and during the day: the enemies are scattered, they are extremely easy to eliminate one by one even in daylight. There are only a few in the camp 6 opponents:
- Two on guard duty in the west.
- One usually sleeps in the camp itself, and another one guards him by the pot.
- One goes behind the tents.
- The last enemy is the leader, he often stands on a cliff to the east, far from everyone.
The easiest way to kill Burkhard and fulfill his request not to take the lives of other bandits is to neutralize all enemies using stealth. First, stun the enemies on the rocks above the camp. Then go north, to the left of the first bandit, and you will find another patrol.
Change your clothes to less noisy ones and drag the bodies into the bushes. If the bandits notice Henry, they will not engage in battle, but will first drive him out of the camp.
Then move to the camp itself, where another bandit is often sitting in the center. By throwing a stone at the tree opposite him, you can carefully eliminate him too. Be careful, there is usually a third patrolman walking behind the tents near the rocks, which is also important to catch and stun.
The last rank and file enemy is sleeping in the tent closest to the cliff, strangle him and head to the cliff to the east. At the edge of the cliff, find Burkhard the Bloody. It is recommended to equip the combat suit in advance in case you cannot eliminate the target quietly.
If you find him, you will still have to engage in battle. The leader is much stronger than the ordinary bandits, which is why several tips can help in the battle:
- Try keep Burkhardt at the edge, so it will be possible to at least restrict his movement, and in the best case it will be possible to throw him down.
- If you fight together with Barbos, wait until he bites enemy. This will allow you to attack the target while ignoring the shield.
- Handgun or crossbow will make the fight easier, especially if you don't let the robber get close to you.
- The enemy often attacks with unblockable attacks, so it's best not to get too close to the cliff.
Having dealt with the villain, you can examine him: Henry will say about the need pick up the helmet. Search the body and take the villain's headdress. Additionally, you can take money and a key to the chest, in which you will find some money and skins.
Before handing over the quest to the artist, it is worth go to the bailiff first, so that there are no problems due to the painting on the helmet.
Go to Troskovitsa, where to the east of the local tavern is the bailiff Drozd's yard. Find the man on the bench by the town hall, in the clerk's house or at the dining table on the street.
If you came before the quest was due, then just show the helmet, but if you brought it already painted, then get ready for a series of checks:
- "Don't look at the paint. That's definitely his helmet." - average persuasion skill check.
- "Do you even know what it cost me to get it?" - a difficult test of the impressiveness skill.
After convincing Drozd, you will receive a reward of 425 groschen from him.
Return to the artist
It remains to return to the artist in the workshop and report on the completed task. The received helmet of the murderer Vojta will offer to paint, after which he will give the headdress to Henry. The master will also inform that very soon finally leaves for Kutna Hora.
The next task is "Speak of the devil".
Awards
After reporting to the bailiff, you will receive 425 groschen, and for completing the quest "The Painted Helmet of the Assassin" as a keepsake. It will be a good option for equipment at first.
