Mode Mercenaries for Resident Evil 4 Remakewhich comes out 7 April, is now available on most Asian servers. s were able to try out the free update, which weighs only 2MB and unlocks the mode beloved by fans of the original.
The mode is an arcade shooter version of Resident Evil 4, in which the will need to kill as many infected as possible in the allotted time, until a rescue helicopter arrives. For the destruction of enemies, points are given, characters and cards are opened for them. "Mercenaries" is not related to progress in the main game.
So far in Mercenaries only four characters available: Leon, Luis, Kra and Hunk, each of them will need to be unlocked by gaining a certain number of points. The equipment of the heroes also differs: the shotgun present in Leon will not be available when playing as Luis. Choice there are three cards: Village, Castle and Island.
According to the game files and the original version of the mode, soon Ada Wong and Albert Wesker will be playable, and also add a Shipyard map. It is possible that the add-ons will be included in the paid DLC.
