The Knights of the Nine is one of the secret guilds of Cyrodiil in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered. To start the Holy Order quest chain, you will have to go to a special NPC and correctly complete the dialogue with him.

How to Start the Knights of the Nine DLC in TES IV Oblivion Remastered
After the launch of the Knight of the Nine DLC, you will unlock new themed content:
- Fraction.
- Locations.
- A chain of 11 tasks.
- Enemy creatures.
- Set of weapons and armor.
- Mercenary allies.
- Artifacts and other items.
First, you will have to find the Prophet of Anvil and get details from him about further actions regarding the pilgrim’s path - we will outline all of this in the following points.
Take training
You can only begin the first quest of the Knights of the Nine if you have completed "Training", which is the first mission in the main story mission chain. This moment occurs immediately after the assassination attempt on the Emperor and the exit from the Imperial City Sewers.
Go to the Chapel of Dibella
The quest NPC is located in Anvil, a sea city in the southwest of Cyrodiil. The easiest way to get to the prophet is through two marks on the map, the choice of which depends on personal preferences and your favorite way of traveling.
If you do not want to use fast travel points, then follow the paths described below:
- On foot or by horse, take the Imperial Highway past Kvatch to Anvil and through the main gate, which is located next to the local stables.
- Walk along the sidewalk on the left side and go around the nearest building.
- If you followed the right path, you will see a church on the right hand side, and on the left hand side, many columns and a covered area where a man spends the night and delivers sermons.
You can also use teleportation points between locations to get to the prophet even faster:
- Move to the zone "The Gates of Anvil Castle".
- Walk forward a few meters and turn right.
Talk to the NPC giving loud speeches under the canopy.
Talk to the Prophet
The preacher is open to dialogue in the morning, afternoon and evening. At night, he prefers to sleep somewhere nearby, because he does not have his own home. At the beginning of the conversation, be sure to find out details about attack on a local chapel.
In a conversation with the prophet, you also need to touch on the topics "Relics of the Crusader" и "Search for Relics", to select the following response options during the dialogue:
- I'll go in search of relics.
- No. I have nothing to brag about.
If you accidentally chose the wrong lines, don't worry - you can talk to the man again at any time and open the task.
Get the Pilgrimage quest
When the prophet receives all the necessary answers, a quest will be added to the protagonist's diary. "Pilgrimage", and in the inventory will appear map of wayside shrines.
You can get this quest earlier, without visiting Anvil, for example, after a dialogue with other priests, or after hearing fresh rumors from locals. In this case, the character will simply open the initial stage of the mission, in which you still need to find the preacher and ask him about the attack on the chapel.
