How to get SU-122V in World of Tanks
For the first time, the SU-122V (Lesta) is available for receipt at the Design Bureau from February 27, 7:00 (Moscow time) to March 3, 23:59 (Moscow time). The first 40 units of the car come with an individually numbered 000D Cottonmouth style. The remaining 3 units of equipment will be without any customization.

However, the SU-122V has another ace up its sleeve - the highest camouflage coefficient both when moving 14,42% and when stationary 24%, so it will not be easy to expose it. The only depressing thing is the limited viewing radius - 360 meters, so you will often have to rely on light from your allies.

How to play SU-122V
The gameplay of the SU-122V largely depends on the map on which it was thrown in battle. If you happen to play in a city, then try to hide the NLD behind embankments or heaps of garbage, destroyed buildings or openings.
In an advantageous position, you can confidently tank a VLD if there is no one among your opponents who can charge cumulative ammunition with a penetration of 300 mm or more. Sometimes you can play aggressively - mobility and UVN/UGN (-3/3) allow you to press closer to the enemy and discharge the drum.
On open maps everything is much simpler and this vehicle is able to realize its main advantages: excellent camouflage and a killer drum. Try to stay in the bushes, don’t get into trouble, always keep your allies in front of you in order to remain unnoticed for as long as possible. It is important to shoot at least 3 shells from the drum and only then go to CD, since reloading here is very long.
Firstly SU-122V – tank destroyer, so you always need to play from your allies: cover them during the attack, them with a “rush” to catch the enemy on CD, or simply hold the position while shooting damage at someone else’s light if you are forced to defend. It is important not to be a hero once again, since the vehicle does not have a turret and has a long CD, so it can become easy prey for mobile ST or LT.
Is it worth buying SU-122V?
Overall, the car makes a mixed impression. On the one hand, this tank destroyer offers somewhat universal gameplay, since the gameplay here is not as dull as on the Swedish Strv 103b and the SU-122V can shoot damage even in traveling mode. On the other hand, implementing a drum can cause difficulties even for average players, since a lot depends on the team, whether the enemy will make a mistake and whether the game will even allow 4 out of 4 projectiles to be realized, especially since armoring at close range will not help in any way.
On open maps the game will be a pleasure, because you will be able to really get the most out of this tank destroyer; in modes with base defense it is especially effective.
