Director: Stanislav Rostotsky

Year of issue: 1972
A classic of Soviet cinematography, to which the modern remake could not even approach the distance of a cannon shot. The novel of the same name became popular in the early seventies of the last century, so the film adaptation of the work remained a matter of time. The situation is seriously complicated by an incorrect assessment of the number of opponents, so the Red Army men will have to enter into an unequal, almost hopeless battle. Despite all the efforts of the commandant Vaskov, the girls die while completing the task.

Of course, planning and considering opportunities come first, but the soldiers themselves are ashamed of their position. They take heavy fights, try with all their might to cling to every inch of the earth, but so far the Wehrmacht machine is not broken and there is a long way ahead.
The film is based on the novel of the same name Sholokhov. The film was the final work for Vasily Shukshin, who in his youth suffered from a painful addiction to alcohol. In recent years, the actor has managed to curb the addiction, but, unfortunately, too much damage has been done to his health.

Director: Elem Klimov
Genre: Drama
Year of issue: 1985

[webnavoz_rating id=50316]Podolsk cadets
Director: Vadim Shmelev
Genre: Drama
Year of issue: 2020
Despite the stubborn resistance of the Soviet troops, the enemy was gradually approaching Moscow. The whole country aactively prepared for the defense of the capital, but the time was sorely lacking. The enemy troops had to be held back at all costs in order to successfully carry out measures to protect the city. An unacceptable gap was formed at the Ilyinsky line, where they were sent to the certain death of order 3500 cadets Podolsk schools.
No one had any hope that yesterday's schoolchildren will become an insurmountable obstacle in the way of the Wehrmacht. It was necessary to win as much time as the situation allowed, and the "Red Junkers" completed their task. They inflicted significant losses on the enemy and for 12 days were an insurmountable obstacle to the German formations. No more than 500 people survived, who, having completed their studies, continued to take part in hostilities.
Half the trouble - when men participate in the war, trouble - when they need the help of women, horror - if they have to sacrifice the lives of children. The feat of Podolsk cadets is a heroic page in our history, which is riddled with pain through and through.
