How to start the quest Return of the Jade Palace
The Return of the Jade Palace quest will become available after completing the following missions:
- "The Approach of a New Star" — the Archons’ quest, which completes Li Yue’s storyline;
- Ganyu;
- "Jade Fishing" - the task of the world.
Then head to the trading area in front of the pier in the northeastern part of the city and talk to the millelite named Big Kun, who has a quest exclamation mark hanging over him, after which the quest will automatically begin.
The patrolman will report news about the creation of a schedule for the reconstruction of the Jade Palace and ask you to find a couple of things for Secretary Bai Wen - bamboo ornaments and the book "A Scattering of Pearls".

As you progress through the mission, you will have to chat with some residents of Li Yue in order to get the necessary quest items.
Talk to Ji Fan
First you need to learn about the book "A Placement of Pearls": talk to Ji Fang, who owns the Wanwen Bookstore in Feiyun Market Square. The path to the open attic, where the shop is located, is clearly visible from the nearest teleporter.
From her, the hero learns that the book is not available, but the girl will offer to go to the Wanshu inn and ask Qing Zhou, a connoisseur of various literature.
Treat Qing Zhou with Delicious Three Flavors Soup
Qing Zhou looks for inspiration on the platform in front of the water in the northern part of the Wangshu Inn. He doesn't have the book either, but he memorizes the contents and can provide a copy. In return, the poet asks to treat him with a portion of the Three Tastes soup.
Dish cannot be bought from merchants. The recipe is sold by Chef Mao at the People's Choice restaurant, and for cooking you need:
- ham x2;
- poultry meat x2;
- bamboo shoots x1;
- mushroom x1.
Use the oven down the stairs from the Verr Goldet counter in the inn and cook the desired dish, then return to the poet and exchange the food for the manuscript.

Talk to Master Lou
It remains to get bamboo ornaments: visit Master Lu in the village of Qingce in the north of Li Yue and fulfill one of his requests - disperse the forest boars that prevent a man from collecting bamboo. Only then will the man take up the production of Bai Wen's order.
Chase away the forest boars
Two areas in the bamboo grove southwest of the village must be freed from wild animals: boars can simply be scared away, it is not necessary to attack. After that, return to Master Lou and please him with a successfully completed assignment.

Return to Bai Wen
Find Bai Wen to complete the quest. The secretary stands outside the istration building in the Moonsea Pavilion in the southern part of the city.
