The conversation will be interrupted by the news of the arrival of the legendary guide Koolau. Follow Mualani to the square to meet with the one who managed to reach the mysterious island. The meeting will also include Sumerian scientists, whom the Traveler previously saved from the attack of the Koholasaurs. Viramdra will try to hire Koolau for an expedition to the place from the legends, but will receive a sharp refusal.

Head to the Fishing Shop with Mualani

The mystery of sky and sea

A clue found in the valley of the coholosaurus will lead to the coast where the energy of phlogiston flows. Having ed forces, the team is engaged in managing nodes that allow one step closer to the goal. The next point in the instructions for finding the island is a jump into the whirlpool. However, not everyone is ready to take a risk and trust the guide.

Head to the location that Mualani discovered through her analysis.

Following the map's clues, head to the coast in the southeast of the Waters of Ameyalco location. At the large stone slab, the team will find the first mechanism, which is likely related to the mysterious island. To reveal the location of the spiritual path, which, according to Viramdra, should be somewhere nearby, you will need to activate all the phlogiston nodes.

Activate the phlogiston node

Both nodes are located on a large island south of where the first mechanism was found. They can be reached via a teleportation point located on a hill.

If you haven't activated the waypoint yet, you can use the Koholasaurus totem on the shore and quickly swim to the island in the form of an aquatic lizard.

How to activate the first phlogiston node

The first mechanism is on a large rock on the western shore of the island. Defeat the two Hilichurls guarding it to gain access to the node.

Go to the switch and select "Touch"to awaken the device and activate part of the spiritual path.

How to activate the second phlogiston node

The second device is at the top of the hill next to the teleport point. Climb up and break the pile of rocks near the pillars.

Complete the Spiritual Path test and examine the whirlpools that appear after solving the riddle. Mualani believes that you must descend into the largest whirlpool to reach the mysterious island. Viramdra will abandon this idea and begin his own exploration of possible paths.

Save Viramdra

While searching for a way to the mysterious island, the scientist will fall into one of the whirlpools and end up deep in the water. To save him, reach the place where Viramdra is drowning in a limited amount of time.

Summon Mualani the Surfer and head out into the water. Follow the phlogiston path to reach the academic and maintain your energy levels for travel. Avoid the whirlpools and jump over the wooden barriers to save precious time.

The truth about the mysterious island

After waiting for a new whirlpool to appear, the team jumps into it together. Having reached the lava caves, a group of travelers find themselves closer than ever to the legendary island. However, the clues left by Uncle Nuu strongly recommend returning immediately. A new conflict is brewing: not everyone in the squad is ready to give up their cherished goal of finding the island.

Go to Mualani and the others

In the morning, head to the place where you saw the giant whirlpool earlier. Mualani and the scientists were able to restart the nodes and summon the funnels at dawn. This time, the entire team is ready to follow the guide without conflict.

Enter the large whirlpool by swimming or using any alternative means of movement. Once you get close to it, the funnel will suck the hero in and carry him to the underground caves.

Explore the underground cave

Once in the cave, follow it forward until you reach a large rift. Jump into it to descend to the lower level of the location.

Continue to a small area with a chest and phlogiston crystals.

Pyro slimes will block your way. Defeat several waves of enemies and take the reward from the rich chest that opens nearby.
