Tanks puzzle in Safha Shatranj in Genshin Impact: how to solve and open the chests

While exploring the ruins of the Hadramavet Desert, you can stumble upon one deluxe and two normal chests in the Abandoned Temples in Genshin impact. Initially, the treasures are blocked, and in order to open them, you will need to solve 3 parts of the puzzle with reservoirs and sands in the Safkhe Shatranj location.

Where to find the tank puzzle in the Abandoned Temples (Safkhe Shatranj)

The Abandoned Temples tank puzzle is located in the ruins of the western part of this area. After completing the task "The Temple Where Sand Flows Like Tears", the location will change its name to Safkh Shatranj.

Move to the nearest teleportation point, go up the stairs and turn left towards the building. To get there, you need activate mechanism opposite the entrance, which guards pristine design.

After entering the temple, go to the statue in the center and use Dendroculus upstairs. Go around the statue and stand on the lift. Activate it to go down to the lower section.

How to fill the tanks and open the three chests in the Abandoned Temples (Safkhe Shatranj) in Genshin Impact

The essence of the puzzle lies in filling certain reservoirs with sand on the wall on the left side. On the right is a hint - it shows which vessels should be full. The puzzle is divided into 3 parts, one chest is opened as a reward for solving each.

1 riddle

For the 1st part of the puzzle, you only need to complete central reservoir, all others must be empty. To do this, follow these steps:

• Shoot the topmost faucet on the left to sprinkle sand.

• At the tank being filled, shoot the right faucet so that the sand goes into the middle one.

• Wait until the yellow bar of the central vessel is filled to the maximum and shoot at it to close it. It should stop glowing blue.

• Then you need to empty the upper left tank. To do this, shoot at his left crane.

• Make sure that the lower left is lit in blue, that is, it is open.

If everything is done correctly, only central vessel. In this case, the 1st part will be considered solved and several Hermits.

After you defeat opponents, it will be unlocked regular chest.

2 riddle

Part 2 needs to be completed top right and bottom left tanks (if mirrored on the opposite wall). Do the following steps:

• Empty the middle tank by shooting straight at it. It should turn blue.

• Fill the upper right vessel by activating the main tap at the top.

• Now turn on the big left faucet on the other side so that the sand falls onto the tank below it. And immediately shoot at his left faucet to fill the lowest vessel.

• Turn off the main faucet so that the upper left reservoir stops filling. It remains to wait until it is completely empty.

If everything is done correctly, they will be filled upper right and lower left vessels.

3 riddle

For the 3rd part of the puzzle, you need to fill the tanks from left to right along an inclined line. Do the following:

• Empty the lower left vessel.

• Turn on the tap at the top right so that it fills the lower tank and empties itself.

• Shoot the main left faucet at the top to fill the vessel below it.

• Then, at the same vessel, turn on the right tap to fill the central reservoir.

If the correct sequence is followed, the vessels will turn yellow from left to right.

The opponents to fight in the final puzzle are - Ruin Dragons: Guardians of the Earth. The award is given luxury chest.
